Quotaquom
We build the physical layer of systems.
Company overview
Quotaquom designs, ships, and operates connected products that make physical infrastructure simpler to access and easier to manage. Industrial design, firmware, and cloud software are built by one team, sold to operators as a product plus an ongoing service.
- Quotaquom is the parent company.
- First product, drumlatch, is an access platform for shared equipment.
- Business model: hardware sales + recurring software access.
- Roadmap extends the same platform into adjacent access and scheduling problems.
Product 01: drumlatch

drumlatch replaces keys, coins, and manual scheduling for shared equipment, starting with laundry. Users unlock machines from their phones; operators control permissions, monitor usage, and manage payments from a single dashboard.
App-first
Phone-based access, no keys or cards.
Retrofit
Installs on existing machines without infrastructure changes.
Operator tools
Permissions, scheduling, and usage visibility.
Market & traction
Shared equipment
A large, fragmented market with outdated access and payment infrastructure across apartments, student housing, and commercial facilities.
Pilot stage
drumlatch is in active pilot with early operators. We are measuring install time, daily usage, and operator retention.
Roadmap
After drumlatch, we are extending the same access, scheduling, and payment platform to adjacent problems in shared physical spaces — storage, amenities, and building equipment — reusing the hardware and cloud foundation already in the field.
